After 19 years of opening its doors to it’s newest facility, Chaska High enlisted the help from the Marketing Company for directional signage throughout the building. Taking lead on design, I was able to develop a signage solution that instructed visitors and new students where to go while also keeping strong to the Chaska High School brand. Research was conducted to understand the specific areas in need of signage and what would be suit its viewers. Chaska colors were chosen as its main color palette (aside from the “school house” colors) to keep with the school brand and for consistence purposes.
Further expanding the Chaska brand, the district requested signs be made within the ice arena to honor the boys and girls hockey teams. These signs were developed on acrylic material, and designed to conference and state championships for each team. This project was completed at the beginning of the 2017 year, after the girls hockey team won their conference championship.
