A student branding project that was developed in a team of three. Myself and two other designers were assigned to develop a name and logo for the intimate apparel store in New York City. Talking with the client we learned the company is based around the in-house fashion designer, and the companies inspiration was “bedroom meets runway.” Using this idea Boudoir was given as a possible company name as it is a French verb meaning “private bedroom.”
With the Boudoir name, a dark seductive color palette was chosen to represent the company, while a soft but dynamic icon was developed for the logo. After the branding was developed a website, billboard, and other marketing materials were also developed for the Boudoir company to further establish the intimate apparel line.
